GPL - anyone using an AMD K6-2 333?

Hi,
I'am hoping to get my copy of GPL in the next couple of days or so.
(I have one reserved for me, it just has to get here!)  I was wondering
if anyone is running a system simular to mine:

AMD K6-2 333
128 MB RAM
8 MB Matrox G100
12 MB Diamond Monster Voodoo II

I'am hearing mixed reports about how many FPS everyone is getting
with GPL!  What FPS are people getting at the start of a race/lots of
traffic?  I'll probably be running GPL in 640 X 480.  How does reducing
the field by 1 or 2 cars effect your framerate?  I've also read turning
off skid marks makes a big difference, has anyone done any tests?

Thanks,
John

Don't know if you've got the game yet, but I've got a K6-2 300, with 64M
ram and a 12Mb Righteous 3d II, and get very good performance at 800x600
with a full field and all graphics on except mirrors (no textures, cars
and track only). There's not much difference between running 640x480 and
800x600 in terms of fps.
