My vote would be for Touring Car Legends, the thought of drifting a
Lotus Cortina, Alfa GTA or even a Ford Galaxie through some of those
long lovely corners we have in GPL is ..........if I think more about
this I might just weep publicly...

How about World Touring Car Championship-

yes, recreating the one year only, hughly popular Group A Touring Car
Championship from the early 80's...

They should make a Grand Prix Legends Legends game. Where we get to pretend
we are Wolfgang, lake and the like doing ridiculous lap times :-)

Just "Legends" would do - an open sim, where it's easy to make the
appropriate cars, tracks and info. for any motor sport you'd care to
recreate.

One multi-purpose physics/graphics engine, with unlimited combinations
of everything!

By the time this has been developed, the internet should be faster, so
the 'server' of each race can dictate which cars & track to use by
downloading them to the clients (synchronizing problems solved). Also,
everyone will be running 8ghz HurgleFlump Processors (TM), which can
also be used to cook your breakfast if you remove the shielding... Oh
no, sorry, my mistake - that happens above 700mhz, doesn't it? And
maybe even MicroPants will have been split up by then ;)

Hmmm.. rambled a bit there...
