Only 8 Mike???

Forgetting  a few here;

NR1999
Nascar Legends
Nascar Acceleration Pack
N2 All American Edition
N2/BGN for Playstation

So lets make that 13 to 4...

Unfortunatly, Papyrus isn't the big problem... the suits at Sierra are.
Papy only got one "tiny" problem... Kaemmer is said to not be keen on
creating a Sportscar sim..  and *thats* a huge shame...

If theres one sim I'de love to buy multiple copies of.. it would be Can-Am
Legends!

I think they look like BUGS...The Ferrari especially reminds me of a
Preying Mantis the way the nose is elevated.  And the square foot boxes
like in the McClarens just don't doit for me.  I STILL, after a year and
half, can't get used to those rollbar cameras with the wheels pinched in
and the elevated nose blocking the front of the car...just doesn't seem
right.  Gimmie the Ferrari's of Prost and Mansell, the McLarens of Prost
and Senna..not the Senna, Andretti, Hakkinen ones, and the Williams of
Prost, Hill, Villenuve.  The earlier williams had that funny hump on the
nose too.
I like wings...big wings..not those tiny  3 element breakable jobbies
they use today.  Because of that...the WSC cars always catch my eyes,
that big wing going the full width of the car on a  SP333, or  R&S
MKIII.  The newer Sports cars all have a F1 nose built between the
front-wheel fenders...yuck!(Lola, Reynard, Audi)  Sure they may be
faster...but they just don't have the "look."  And the CART Lola from
the eary '90's has what should be a classic shape.  Mikey Andretti's
VERY POINTED nose bumping up against rear facing in-car camera shots.
Those were cool.  Todays cars all look like they once had a broken nose
that healed poorly.  (recurring theme here)

Ugliest F1 car other than todays bugs would be that hideous McClaren
with the baby wing over the air box.   Have I left anyone out? :>

I *think* it was Win Percy, I'd have to review my tapes to check, got
them from a friend in Australia, "History of Bathurst" or something,
great to watch, especially the early years where the classes where
decided by the price of the car.....that made for some odd cars being in
class with each other :-)

The early years were the ones that I used to attend occassionally (at
Bathurst, that is....not Philip Island).  Interesting mixture, indeed.  I
remember one year the police ran a Studebaker Lark (V8) that peed all over
the competition going UP the mountain but quickly ran out of brakes coming
DOWN the hill!! :-)

But the years of the Minis and Cortinas, then the Holden Monaros, Ford
Falcon GTs and the Chrysler Chargers were phenomenal......in my mind some of
the most entertaining Aussie motor-racing of all time.

Brakes AND wheel bearings if memory serves me right :-), it was about
then they said that the big V8's would never win at Bathurst....

From what I've seen, I'd agree, but the V8's in the early 90's where a
good show as well, there's the opening of the wet race in 91 or 92 on
those tapes, Brock and Perkins going at it, sliding those cars like they
were rally cars on a short sprint, awesome, must have seen those opening
laps 50 times by now
