N3 Internet setup - 2 lan cards

I'm connecting to the internet via DSL and have a problem with N3 and
multiplayer mode.  My PC has 2 lan cards, 1 is connected to the DSL
modem and the internet and 1 is connected to the local lan.  N3 wants to
use the lan card connected to the local lan, does anyone know how to
force it to use the card connected to the internet?

Thanks,
Jon

Well, I can only suspect you are doing this with 2 Lan cards because you are
sharing the connection with ICS or some other software solution.

Is it possible that there is some sort of proxy or firewall getting in
between the two?

You really should not have to select a card.  Your Ip connection should just
'be there'.
