Yeah, we're all awaiting Deer Hunter Legends, where you only have bow/arrow,
or perhaps an old winchester.  Or an original colt ;-)

Sorry. Have to agree with him. I'd say most people here in the U.S. are
overwhelmingly ignorant of the rest of the world.

Perhaps if you left your iq where it normally is, you might
have been able to reply to what I posted.  I don't think I
even mentioned Nascar 4 and I hardly need to be infuriated
to think the popularity of deer hunter says something about
the average american - all I need is a deathwish.

Low blows are my specialty - hence asbestos undies :)

I don't hate America, or Americans.  I just pointed out
that from an external viewpoint, the American public are
largely loud and ignorant.  The only people arguing the
point are Americans.

And from an American viewpoint, the rest of the world is arrogant and
uninformed.  There, we've both engaged in incorrect, sweeping,
generalizations<G>

I meant the average american, and it's not an uncommon opinion.

Helping other countries in trouble?  What - by bombing and starving
their neighbours?  By putting military forces around the world to help
us all at gunpoint?  Try seeing this from outside the states - the USA
is seen as the biggest warmongering nation on earth.  Your media must
feed you so much bs about your behaviour in the international arena.

Consider this - If the USA became involved in a skirmish with Mexico,
would the United States appreciate 3 Russian carriers with full escorts
patrolling within strike distance "in case assistance is needed"?  This is
exactly what your government is doing to other countries right now.

The world doesn't want world police.  Most of all, it doesn't want
American world police.

I realise I've offended a couple of people - it wasn't my intention and
I apologise to most of you here.  Then again, if the truth hurts this much,
maybe it's time to change things.

Er, the Russians only have one aircraft carrier, and it doesn't have near
the capability of a US carrier task force........I know, I know, but I
couldn't resist<G>
