I am running on an AMD XP 1.4Ghz with a geoforce 2 agp card and have the
following problem...

During race practice I pressed escape key to get back into the pits and my
screen then locks up with half the screen showing the pit lane and the other
half is black. The only way I can get out of this is to reboot my machine.

Any ideas what could be causing this. It is very annoying.

I've had this problem before with my GF3 and seem to have solved it with the
23.12 drivers that Asus released for 1 day last week. Haven't have one of
these lockups since then...

Are you running ZoneAlarm? I've had a similar problem, even when running
offline...
