Trying to play the old Mobil Ralley game. It seems to run fine but
having a problem. I get to the starting gate and the car won't go!
Rev's and then goes backwards... Is it the controller? Set to run as
"win 95 mode" I love this game...can anybody help me...

I tried to install it under XP a while back and never could get it to
run. Similar problem to yours, all kinds of controller issues (Act
Labs wheel here). I had to keep it installed in Win98.

THere was a patch that was supposed to address split axis issues. I
remember having problems with my red momo. Too long ago. Verify that you
can calibrate all the various pedal and wheel axis.

Found the 'patch 6' (actually had it in my archive-I never dump
anything) will try it tonite...and adjust to 'win 98 emulation mode'.
Just for the record...do I want the 2 axis or the 3 axis mode......?

3 I would think, but if that doesn't work, then try 2. 1 for the wheel,
and two for the pedals. If you do go with 2, then you may have to change
the wheel's profile and uncheck the split axis box for the pedals.

I think (I have made so many back and forth changes) I have tried all
that with still no luck...going to keep messin' with it for a while
longer before I give up...I just really thought this game was fun to
drive.

I have gotten it to where the car will go forward...but it won't seem
to stay in gear or shift up out of first....aaaaaargh!!!!!!!!!
