Did anybody manage to make the game working with the wheel and split axis?
Thanks in advance,
Igor
Did anybody manage to make the game working with the wheel and split axis?
Thanks in advance,
Igor
Please, try to recall.
What type of the wheel you see in your controller setup?
My only works if I set 2 axis+2 pedals and wheel reports as combined axis.
Also, what strength of FF you set?
Everything jumps on my table, even if I set the strength to 40%.

There are codes you can enter in the ral.cfg for specific wheel types
that sort out the split axis problems. Unfortunately I don't have
them handy. =/

dontrunoutoftime=1
noautoneutral=1; dont engage neutral after crash
sensiblesaving=1; save between stages
BTW, I don't remember any indication that the controler axes were
set/modified here.

I can't find ral.cfg or rally cfg file in the game folders.
Where to look?

Wow! There's a lot more to ral.cfg than I thought. As to where to find/put
it, the last paragraph sez:
<<In order to send control commands to RC that you can't set within the
game, there's a file called ral.cfg in which you can put these commands.
It's located in the var folder under the RC installation root (typically
c:\rc\var). If it doesn't exist, you can easily create it yourself. Open
Windows Notepad, and write the commands you want on separate lines.>>
[N.B. Notice that, by default, RC does *not* install itself under Program
Files but in the root directory.]
There is a ralwiz.exe floating around somewhere, but you don't need it.
Just creating a textfile (like the one I quoted above) oughtta do the trick.

I didn't have the cfg file at all. So I created the file.
The strange thing is that the game does react on some settings like "nofmv"
but does not react on any settings related to the wheel setup (like
joymode=3, alt2axcode or joycode).
What can be wrong?
What do you have in your controller axis mode setup in the game?
"3 axis+ pedals" or "2 axis + pedals?"
I think I put the latest patch 6. Probably I have wrong patch?
Where to find the right one?
Any help will be very appreciated.
