Mobil 1 Rally or Porsche Unleashed with Momo Racing/Win XP?

Just replaced a worn-out Thrustmaster Nascar Pro Digital 2 wheel with a Momo
Racing wheel.  The only sim I have installed presently is NR 2003 Season.

I also have Mobil 1 Rally Championship and NFS Porsche Unleashed, but never
reinstalled them when I switched from Win 98 to Win XP Home.

Will both of them work well with the Momo Racing wheel?  Do both sims have
good force feedback effects?

NFS:PU works well with the Momo and does a fairly good job at FF, but
it's very basic in that regard.

I have NFS:PU working in XP, but I remember there was some issue with
getting it to work.  You had to delete a file to get it to work, or
something.  Try a Google groups search to find out how to get it to work.

gimme.dll, IIRC.
There were also a few other suggested solutions which didn't require renaming or
deleting that file...
