Help ! N4 Graphics Problems

System:

400 mz Pentium ll
128 meg ram
STB Velocity 128  8 meg video card  with a Monster 3d ll 12 meg accelerator
Direct 3D 800x600 16 bit color

I am experiencing bad graphics and don't know what to do. The cars are fuzzy
and multicolored in colors that are not their original colors....alot of
greens and blues where there not supposed to be. Daytona's track ( but only
in the lane where the cars run) is a made up of a bunch of multicolored
polygons. The other tracks are OK.
If I need a new card would you please suggest the best and most economical
of the best.

Thanks

Joe

Try installing the Voodoo 2 drivers on the N4 CD-ROM.

Help ! N4 Graphics Problems

Hello..I had the exact same "rainbow" thing going on too at Daytona,
Bristol, Lowe's etc...I have the exact same system as you but had a 16M
Voodoo...I went out and plunked down $130 for a GforceMX2 (32M) and now the
game is quite acceptable...no more rainbow on the track, getting from 15 to
38 fps depending on conditions... Now I need the most processor I can get,
which is only a P3 700M for this m/b...and maybe I will add 128M
memory....but as I said the vidcard helped alot...hate to say thats the only
way to solve your problem, it may not be, but I decided to get the 32M card
at the very least..its inevitable  cheers!
