N4 demo graphics, ff problems

I have downloaded (thanks go!zilla) and tried N4 demo on my system
and was disappointed with the graphics and force feedback.

Graphics was very, very flat with no details (worse than Nascar 1999)
with all the graphics settings set to highest (16 bit), the force feedback
was OK on the track, but when I crashed in the wall, there was no
force feedback whatsoever.

Is the released version any better (especially) graphics?
I am trying to decide if to buy it or not.

My system is:

Dell Intel P4, 380M memory, NVidia GeForce2 MTX 400
