N2003 demo - problem configuring graphics (help please!)

Just a shot in the dark here, but you might want to try adjusting your AGP
ram settings. Usually that's in the motherboard bios. Another option would
be trying it in OpenGL and then if that works go back and try DX again.

Another shot in the dark -- I had the exact same problem using a Radeon
8500LE.  I solved it by disabling all videocard overclocking during the
graphics configuration.  (Note:  This solved the problem in D3D, but mine
still freezes when configuring OpenGL).  After configuration is completed,
you can again overclock.

Hope this helps....

Im having the same problems too Just out of curiosity do all three of you
have a via266 chipset? I read on another forum of people installing the
latest 4-1 drivers and fixing it but that did not work for me so far i have
installed dx9 and 4-1 drivers only thing left is video drivers but I dont
think that will help either Mine gets to 218 textures before it locks up in
d3d and opengl
video card is geforce3 ti 200 128mb  with 30.82 drivers
amd 1800
512 pc2100 ram
epox 8kha+ motherboard w/ via266 chipset  now with 4.42 drivers

I installed the 4.42 4n1 drivers then the 41.09 video drivers which finally
made it work in directx 800x600x16 but thats it  still locks up trying to
configure in any other resolution or open gl I will try those hyperions and
see if that works

That fixed it I put in the newest hyperion 4-1 drivers and now I can run it
in any resolution I want in open gl or directx runs great.
