We just purchased Nascar 4 and we're experiencing a problem.

We have our graphics set to: Direct3D, 640X480X16.  ((Also tried all the
other settings.  We also have DirectX 8 installed.)) however when we go to
race, the track isn't drawing in front of the car.  As we drive past the
undrawn part of the track, it will then appear.

We have Nascar 3, and have never experienced this problem with Nascar 3 on
the same computer :(

Is there anyone that could give us some input on what we could do to correct
this?

Sounds notoriously like not having the latest video driver, but since
you don't say which card you have, it's difficult to know exactly.

Without knowing anything else, I'd guess it's a video memory or system
resource issue...

We're running:
IBM Aptiva 550 mhz
Intel Pentium 3
128 mb of SDRAM
NumberNine SR9 - 8MB Video Card
Yes, did a full install :)

Also, we downloaded driver updates from IBM and NumberNine's website,
however that didn't seem to correct the problem :(

    Bingo!   8mb vid card....while not a Doctor, I'd say your
suffering from texture-overrunitis.
  You'll be able to run N4...but will you be able to run it well?
