Hi!

I wonder if Papyrus plans to publish a Formula 1 Game. Wouldn't that be
great? :-)

have a nice day!

Hello. Yes, I agree, it would be great. BUT, I think they only stick to
stuff that's American.

No way, Geoff Crammond's sim will be the definitive F1 sim. It's gonna
***all over ICR2.
Mind you, I wouldn't mind them doing an NATCC [North American Touring
Car Championship] game, then you could nip into Paintshop and do a BTCC
carset and turn it into a REAL championship.

Yo!

Before you go shooting off your mouth, MAYBE you should wait and see how it
runs and performs buddy.  From what I heard the framerate sux, even on a high
powered PC.  You have no right to even begin to compare it to Papyrus sims
without ever playing it.  You may change your tune when you actually get the
game, whenever that may be.

Oh come on guys (and gals) Papyrus AND Microprose have both released
nothing but fine quality racing sims, hell, they're state of the art!
This which is better than which has become absurd and just waste
space on this forum.
Congrats to Geoff Crammond and to David Kaemmer and everyone
associated with your great efforts at Papy and Microprose.

With this childish attitude, I'm glad I won't have to mix it up with you
on the same track when I run the CART/PPG season.  But, I may have to
watch out for you when I run the F1 season.

The frame rate is what is being worked on right now. It's apparently improving all the
time. Besides, its bound to be better than ICR2, it doesn't involve driving around in
circles for 500 laps. However, Papyrus do make great sims, and apart from the bugs, ICR2
is a stormer (I just doubt it will be as good as GP2).

I hope Blundell likes roundabouts!!!!

There is no IndyCar race that involves driving in circles (or ovals, for
that matter) for 500 laps.

Detail aside, the validity of the post stands. ICR2 is totally awesome
around Detroit, Elkhart etc, but ovals are pretty boring. Ovals must be
an American thing, I can't see the attraction. They require a different
form of skill I'm sure, just less than road courses in my opinion.

Cheers!

Please, don't start this discussion on this newsgroup. It is already
irritating enough on the Indy and F1 newsgroups.....

I am sure Blundell has switched because he wants some great racing
instead of the F1 procession.

Cheers.

You muppet. The reason he's gone to Indycar is because he's so ***and
nobody in F1 will have him. Get it right !!

And they call us Americans pompous. Evidently Blundell's
record-breaking ninety-seven consecutive World Championships weren't enough to
spare the man from the clutches of Indycar.

I personally think Indycar is a sad joke, but not because it's "second
best".....
