Papyrus: how about a Mac F1 game?

by Guany » Tue, 26 Sep 1995 04:00:00

Hi,
Just wondering if Papyrus or anyone else (Microprose?) is considering
making a F1 game for the Mac. I say Papyrus because they are making ICR
II for the mac and Microprose because I'll be jealous of all of those
people when F1GP II comes out. I think if Papyrus thinks that there is a
market for an ICR game, there should be one for a F1 Game.

I suspect Papyrus won't be doing any F1 games, as Microprose probably
has exclusive rights or something to F1... not sure about that, though...

Microprose, on the other hand, have never to my knowledge made a single
game for the Mac... so get a PC is my advice.. they are cheaper than ever..
and getting cheaper all the time...

This reminds me to ask a question, but first of all, Papyrus' Indy game
is coming out for mac, and I believe the demo was out on CD in MacWorld
or something recently in fact.  That brings me to the question.  I heard
you must have an 040 to run it.  Is this absolutely true (I hope not)?  I
have an LC III with 12 meg of ram.   Will it just not run, or will it
just be very slow?
