I would appreciate it if someone from Papyrus would shed some light on the
future of Nascar Racing for the Mac:
Is Nascar 2 Mac in the works? If so, when might it be released (ballpark),
and will it work with the NRO system?
Will future releases (N3?) be released simultaneously for Windows and the
Mac, or will the Mac version continue to lag behind?
I am enjoying the current version very much, and I'm looking forward to
continued development of the Mac version.

We are evaluating the sales of the Mac product, the costs of doing a
Mac product, and the strategic advantage (if any) of being
multi-platform. From the numbers I've seen, I don't imagine that
future products will be released on the Macintosh at all. That's not a
company decision, but if I were a bettin' man, that's where my money
would go.
If the Mac sales pick up, or the decision is made to support the Mac
for strategic (and not profit-oriented) motives, you'll get your wish;
it doesn't look likely.

I believe that the first patch (for N2-PC) will offer "weak" (in a
cryptographic sense) authentication for results files for off-line
leagues. (I can't swear to it, but I know Charlie and I had a
discussion of various schemes for doing this, and I think he's putting
it in...)
