sim ?

Uh, what are you trying to say?
As far as I know, no one is making a Train Sim (I imagine you mean drag
racing?)

Yo, Papyrus; Wake Up !

First you let us drive on ovals, you want want us to drive on straigths ?

Hello?!?  Nobody wants that (except for bunch of Americanos)

Europeans want *racing* sims; Otherwise why don't you create a train-sim ?

You give me a Indycar or Grand Prix sim with a Racing League and then
I'll see racing in either form, but as far as simple computer AI I think
Microprose made a great leap.  However, the adjustments I can make to
Nascar 1 and how close I race with the AI (i.e. door to door) I think
Nascar is as good as it gets.

Just my opinion,
John Flowers
P.S.  Americanos make up a huge amount of the computer population.  Do
we insult your forms of racing?

Hi,
I've been curiously lurking around in the news group for the last 5
days.  I have played some racing sims on my old Mac LC (Bill Elliott's
NASCAR Challenge,
and Ferrair G.P.).  I can win BENC in my sleep!  It is so easy! I won my
first race 2 days after I bought the game!  Ferrari G.P. is a lot better
and I've had some excellent races that have been decided on the last lap!
Anyway, a game I would like the see Papy do is a World Of Outlaws type
game.  I saw the TNN coverage at Knoxville a while back, and the World Of
Outlaws put on a great show!  I especially liked the A-main practice
session where they showed a camera shot from Andy Hillenburg's car where
you could actually see a small vapour trail leaving the wing of the car!
However, the World Of Outlaws may have to gain a bit more TV coverage and
exposure the make the game profitable.

Just my input on the subject!

John

Well, considering that Papyrus is an "americano" company, and they know
what "americanos" want, I think it would be a great idea to make a drag
racing sim.. and maybe they just shouldn't sell it to "europeanos".. it
would save them money..

Chill out there pal.  Papyrus NEVER said they were making a drag racing
sim.  You were reading discussion about someone posting that they would
like see it, that's all.
