But we shouldn't need to do all this. Should have tested better in the
first place - AI problems, braking over sensitive ( have you tried
pumping the brakes? ) transparant tyres, invisible text when windows
pop up, corrupt graphics if you change settings in race, flashing
screen when using 1024x768, ***sound.
Having said all that, I did enjoy running a few laps at Australia, but
if I'm to use the in race menus ( pit board stuff ) , then I need to be
able to read the text, not guess what is trying to be displayed.
Looks to me as though it was rushed out to beat GP3 release.
Well at least my shop has a no quibble return as it's going back
tomorrow.

You can create setups for the AI so they behave better... Something which is very much needed :)

Agreed, but I am accustomed to it now, and it isn't
a huge problem.
I guess you haven't taken the time to read the many posts
associated with this problem. You need -different- drivers
for your video card.
To me, it sounds pretty fine on a pair of headphones.
See above.
Good idea.

sensitive ( have you tried pumping the brakes?
Have you tried a suggestion sent to me recently? 'In your F12K directory go
to season00\vehicles you will see a file named default.vhs. Open this with
any text editor (notepad) and scroll down till you see Controls header then
look for Braking_Ratio=(9220.2) or close to this and reduce to 6000 or so
then save. go back into game
and try it to see if its to your liking. Adjust as nessasary to suit.'
you change settings in race, flashing screen when using 1024x768, ***
sound.
I have no problems like these at all. As rrevved says check your video
drivers.

Revv... He wasn't refering to setups but to tweaking the AI, carphysics etc.
What's up with you? You're acting like a yerk last few days accusing

My point is that the box says it doesn't support Win2K.
Surely you don't dispute that.. do you, Michael?
You seem ... ***y tonight, but you're cute when you're mad.
