You should download either the latest drivers for you card from Creative's
site, or reference (non-hardware-specific, or generic) drivers from
http://www.racesimcentral.net/;This worked for me, even though I don't have a
Creative card (it's a Diamond).

When start a race in GPL, I get black patches everywhere and I can't see the
track.  I'm running a Creative Labs Voodoo 2 12 Mb card.  Can anyone please
help!!  Thanks in advance.

Make sure you turn off force triple coloring buffering in the v2 control
panel.

Quite right. GPL doesn't like it.
