1. Make sure the Monster3D demo program works -- test the settings from
the Screen Properties / Refresh rate box.
2. Make sure the INI files in your GPL folder are *not* set to "read-only"
in the properities.
3. (out of ideas -- for now :)

It might be a stretch, but maybe your Monster isn't supported properly
either? Try using the current drivers for that card from the Diamond
website, not the ones that came with Win98.
