Just a note to let you know. I've got a Dell P2400 w/ Diamond
Monster3DII 12MB and has been running great on the Diamond drivers with
DirectX 6. I installed the new drivers released today from 3dfx and GPL
hung on the first screen.

That was all I needed to see. They were gone very quickly. Surprised
that these new drivers did not have the ability to overclock my card. My
Diamond drivers let me clock it up to 95Mhz.

I got them too, since I have a K6-2 (these are the drivers that
support 3DNow!), and didn't have any problem.
I didn't play a long time, ran a few laps at Monza and Spa, then tried
a bunch of other games to see if the drivers affected anything else.

No problems here.

K6-2/300, STB Black Magic 12 meg.

I used the new drivers last night with my Monster 2 and had no problems.
Played multiplayer for about 4 hours and didn't have one problem with the
video. I even like the new 3Dfx startup logo.

Weird how some can run the new drivers & others cant ... I wonder if its a
problem with SLI .. I tried the drivers last night & GPL hung every time on
the main menu's .... I was using 2 12mb Creative cards .. no problems with
the previous drivers so i just down graded them again & everything was
fine.I hope they get this sorted out soon.

For me the problem wasn't with SLI. It hung GPL and I only have one card.
