Anyone having problems getting the Hercules Thriller, or any card to run
on a 100Htz motherboard? Have an ASUS P2B, and when I tried to jump the
board at 100Htz, got no video!
Thank

Sorry, I can't help you with your problem. I have also had problems with
my Hercules 8MB PCI Thriller and unfortunately the technical support is a
joke. For example, I told them that the screen stayed black and would
not recover after using power-saving standy mode in Win95. Their
response was they thought it might be fixed in an upcoming patch. That's
nice. I wonder what else "might" be fixed (I've asked them to be more
specific but they decided not to reply). And what is hillarious is the
demo of the game Incomming that came with the Thriller doesn't run
properly on the Thriller but works on the Pure3d (Voodoo based) card I
have. The tech person said it would be fixed "soon". BTW, using email
it takes them at least 2 weeks to respond.
BTW, I've also dealt with Canopus and so far their tech support is much
more responsive email-wise.

Anyway thanks for the response, and good luck. By the way I got the
thriller to work at 100MHz with an PII 300, but the system was very
unstable, Windows crashing all over the place. Urghh!
