Any final decision on the track for this Sunday?

I think there may have been, but I can't find where I may have written
it down, and it seems Google is a bit out of date recently, so
searching there hasn't been its usual smooth sailing.

Thanks,

PS: Got TeamSpeak installed and the new micorophone seems to be
working. I hope to try it all out on Sunday. (That ought to get my wife
rolling her eyes even more than normal! <grin>)

What kind of times are you guys running? I need something to shoot for since
Sat. night is the only time I will have to practice. With such a large
track, we may spread out quickly (and not reach our goal of close racing) if
we aren't running times that are fairly close.

Thanks Neil:

    Where is the LaMans track?

I've looked all over F1RST, The track might be
there, but I can't find it.

                                            Thanks

Try to host a race - then select the LeMans track. It will say you don't
have it and will start downloading it. Simple as that ;)

As for lap times, I had to do a complete reformat and install yesterday so I
lost the record of the laps I've done. 4:22 rings a bell but I really can't
recall. Interestingly, if you go to race weekend and skip to race, as it
fills in the qual speeds for the others it lists them as 1 minute
something - wierd.

I just installed ETCC.  The sense of speed is horribly lacking...  What am I
missing ?

Cause the speed IS horribly lacking in these matchbox cars :)  If you want
the sense of speed then turn on max head movement in the ini.  I don't
recall what I changed in the ini but now the sense of speed in ETCC makes
Papy TA look real tame :)  It actually feels like a real suspension working
below me.

Im down to the 4:30's but havent spent hardly any time there.  Can't get
enough of the 67 Sarthe track for Papy TA.

Hey Neil - can you host tomorrow?  I lost contact with my main server when
Sierra crashed earlier today...and the other doesn't have hd space for the mod.
I have NOT been having a good week... :-(

I've managed to get down to a 1:33. I still keep having flashbacks to
the old GPL / TPTCC version of the track, which causes me no end of
trouble at some of the corners. I would expect the fast guys to be
safely down into the 1:24-26 range. (But will their tires (tyres)
last? One can only hope not. LOL!!)

Uh... make that _4_ minutes plus, not _one_ minute.

That's what comes of posting times immediately after running some
laps at Road Atlanta. Those of us with really short attention spans
forget how much longer LeMans is. <sigh>

I ran a couple of laps in the 3's with the fast setup last night.  I've only
done about 5 laps total, and only about 2 of them were all on-track :)

That right-hander after the long straing is a sneaky bastard!

ETCC not TPTCC :)  Man o man were in acronym hell :))

I posted a test setup for TPTCC on the RSC forum.  Fast will not make it
race distance and we don't have an expert.
