I've recently become an on-line racing ***, but I'm having problems with
Dega.  My set-up run's 195mph, which when I'm playing off-line is good, but
when I go on-line - they are all running 200 to 202mph. I've spent the last 5
days tweaking my set-up - but can't seem to gain the 5mph needed to run up
front. Am I missing something? or am I just that bad of a crew chief?

Thanks

Well,
For one your power band at Tally (And Daytona...) is between 7900-8000
RPM's.  So I would suggest a 3.10 gear for 70*, that seems to work best.
Chances are you were trying to pull about 9000 RPM's.
By the way a good goal for 70* is 200.000 mph , fastest would be 200.450
mph.

(Just start with the QUALIFY.stg and learn a line, then play with your
weight adjustments)

Check your...

1.  Steering control calibration.  If the pedals aren't registering correctly,
you won't get as much horsepower.

2.  Tire pressures.  They should ALL be 60 psi to reduce rolling resistance.

If its a pedal problem, calibrat your pedals by pushing your gas only 90% of the
way for DEGA and DAYTONA ONLY!!!  THis way by flooring it you re sure to get
complete use of gas
Are they running 201 and 202 laps or top speeds, they might be running a
qualifying setup with like 45% grille tape, and if you still can't get it up (no
pun intended) try searching through your N3 manual for stuff that could help you
gain speed, and search online for dowloadable setups

Besides some of the other advice given already, you can go tot the wonswap
site (or a million others) and download setups.
Also, drafting is crucial to keep up with the leaders.  Personally i have
raced with the original ace setup plenty of times and keep up easily.  Drive
a smooth line, and draft.
