N3 Online help appreciated

You got just about all your bases covered there.  Just on the off chance,
could it be that the Windows Update feature is kicking in?  Since
"upgrading"<g> to W98 about a month or so ago, I've noticed it
occasionally when I'm online.  That's about all I can come up with.

And... make sure you don't have "active desktop" enabled, it's very
evil!  :)
