LFS - Refresh rate help

by Rick Catto » Wed, 01 Feb 2006 08:01:32

Oops - I've inadvertently clicked on a refresh rate within the options
screen which my monitor won't support, and I'm therefore getting a corrupted
screen within the game. I've had a poke about in the config files but
couldn't find anything obvious to reset it with. Can anyone help out, or am
I looking at a complete reinstall?

Thanks in advance

Rick.

The very second line in my cfg.txt is 'start windowed=0'. If you changed
that to a '1' then booted up into a window and changed back your refresh
rate and then reverted to the 'start windowed=0'?

Or press SHIFT-F4 to go to windowed mode while in game and change back
your refresh rate?

Doh! Yes, certainly missed that one. I tried changing 'Windowed Link 0' to 1
without success.

Thanks very much, Michael - greatly appreciated.

Try the "Screen Info" line in cfg.txt (line #76 in mine). It has four
numbers - not sure, but looks to me like the second one may be the
refresh rate.
