GPL refresh rates

by Varmint2 » Tue, 06 Oct 1998 04:00:00

  Hi Group,

I was fooling around switching back and forth between my Sii220 and 12meg
V2.  I was checking monitor status and my refresh rates were quite low and not
what I believe I have them set to. Can GPL override my settings ??

  Should be 800x600 75mgz on Sii220
  Should be 800x600 85mgz on 12meg V2

Am I missing something somewhere ?

Do I not really understand onscreen monitor status ?

BTW frame rates aren't much differn't in training mode. I expected the V2 to be
much faster.

            Thanks,        Dave

GPL should use the refresh rates that you have set in your display
properties for each resolution.

I have not been able to adjust my refresh rate in the display properties of
my M3D 2 since I upgraded the drivers. I made sure I downloaded the correct
monitor settings and the refresh slider still stay on 60hz. My monitor can

I have experienced the same problem with the stuck M3D 2 card.
Interestingly, I just went and tried once more after reading your
message and it finally worked.  Strang huh?
