I believe I have this solved now. For some reason, some of the entries in
my registry that control the game port settings and Logitech devices didn't
have the right permissions applied. I removed and re-installed everything
about the wheel, and received a message about unable to write to a registry
key. I changed the permissions, and now all seems to be well.
Hope this helps someone else who may be having these problems, but as usual,
I am probably the only one...<G>
