Logitech MOMO (red) Programming question

by Icer » Mon, 14 Apr 2003 00:18:14

I use a MS FF so don't know how the programming works. A friend (far
away) has one and he can't seem to figure out how to get a button
press to be more than momentary so he can use it as a press-to-talk
button for Roger Wilco. Is it possible? The key press we use in N3 is
CTRL, so if it is possible show mw here and i'll tell him..

Thanks
GPatricks

Tell him to go into the wingman profiler and then click on the appropiate
menu for the button he wants....then choose select assignment and\or
edit...this will give him another window in which to "record" the key stroke
he wants to use....

But does that just give him a momentary keypress or will it be held
down as long as heholds the button down (so he can talk)?
Thats his problem now, it just sends one keystroke.

Thanks

There is an option in there to 'record pauses', but that will just set
the time the key is held down *in the profiler*. In other words, he
would have to talk in the allotted time set in the profiler. Not quite
what you are looking for.

It's been awhile since I have used it (with my memory, *last week* is
awhile), but could RBJoy (http://www.rbsoft.de/RB-Joy/rb-joy.html) be
used to do what he wants?
