  It should but you need the patches to enable FF in F1 2001

No prob at all if you patch like Dave says.

I have that exact set-up and it's A1 !

It will, but the game will run very slowly with FF enabled.  The problem
only occurs in Win2K and WinXP - in Win9X it runs just as fast with FF
enabled.  Newer Logitech wheels don't have this problem...

different from the original Wingman FF wheel?

Yeah.  The official word from Logitech is that the original Wingman Formula
Force lacks certain FF 'features.'  Apparently these 'features' can be faked
through drivers under Win9X but the Win2K/XP OS prevents this.  Strange, eh?
If you're in the market for a new wheel, the Thrustmaster Ferrari wheel is
worth a look - quite similar to the LWFF.
