After d/l'ing Certified Banshee Drivers 4.11.01.1444 from 3DFX site all
seemed well until I tried to race on TEN (worked w/Halflife didnt try GPL).
System locks (req hard boot) when N2 starts (both on and offline).  After
switching back all is fine. The older drv that works is 4.11.01.0377-1.00.

Sys:

Celery 300a o'c 450
Creative Banshee
SB Live

This is where you get the official supported driver (2.54 at the moment)

As for the 2.56. There is a beta lot under non disclaimer that some people
have but they would be silly to post em. Neither Voodoo Extreme or any of
the other Voodoo sites have posted them as far as I know.

PS. There isnt much difference apart from the miniGL!.

"Voodoo3 Windows 9x Retail Drivers (AGP/PCI) - Quake3 Compatible "

And yes, there is a difference.  It includes the 2.56 driver which doesn't
crash GPL as the 2.54 driver did.  So far I haven't noticed any framerate
reduction or increase with them other than fixing that truly annoying
problem.

I found out, that MGPRS2 gets a little choppy with that driver.
Anybody found an advantage?
