I know that this may have been discussed before but we don't get F1RS here
in North America and hence no magazine has actually reviewed it.
I'm interested in knowing how these two games compare to one another . . .

F1RS is great with its 3D graphics, esp. on a 3Dfx card. It also has
wet weather which GP2 does not. Setups I think are a little harder to
get in F1RS, but once you do it is worth the work. F1RS is the '96
season, so things are a little more up to date. Sound isn't quite as
good as in GP2 I think.
Both games have same fault in very bad menus.
Hi there
F1RS is a much better game in terms of graphics and modernity. It
supports network play and is muc more configurable.
The down side is that it requires a 3D card which GP2 does not.
I prefer F1RS though I still play Gp2 (AND Gp1 for that matter which I
reckon is better then either of them as a racing simulator)
