F1C Problems.

by Larry Lindstro » Mon, 10 May 2004 11:13:26

Hi Folks:

I want to copy the GTR 2002 tire squeal sounds
into my F1C folder.  I'd rather not download the
whole monster file.

The file, in the F1C's audio folder, is called
internal_skid_road_dry.wav.  Could someone email

From the first time I've gone online with F1C,
I've had two problems.  I don't know if this is
related to running F1C on WIN2K.

My old PC can only host 5 cars.  This must be
specified in my ".PLR" file.  When I join another
driver's session, the value of "Max MP Players",
and all my difficulty settings, is altered to
whatever the host is using.  I can re-set the
difficulty values when I host my next session,
but the "Max MP Players" value must be changed
in the .PLR file with a text editor.  And I have
to re-start F1C for the values to take effect.
If I <ALT-ESC> to minimize F1C and change the
file, F1C doesn't recognize the change.

The other problem is booting players.  I've
never been able to select a driver to boot
them.  Today someone named "Lightning" decided
to drive backward around the track.  Anybody know
why I can't select a driver by clicking on them
with the mouse?

                                           Thanks
                                           Larry
