McLaren mod F1C messed up F1C

I got this mod and followed the directions. I even printed them so I could
follow them. Well, it hosed my F1C install, so it doesn't run, nor the
McLaren mod. Oddly enough my ETCC and the Prototype mods run perfectly.
Does anyone know how to reinstall F1C without uninstalling? I'd love to just
reinstall, but EA doesn't let me.
At worst, I'll just delete F1C and the entire folder and all the mods, then
redo the whole thing.
Has anyone had this happen with the new McLaren mod?

The Mclaren mod was a *** to get installed right.  Took me several
tries.  However, if your ETCC mod and Prototype C are working, then F1c
should be as well.  :)  The basic sim is functioning, but you may have
messed up car or track files.   Use the Mclaren launcher to try fixing the
tracks and see if that helps.

Been there, done that. Three times. If I have time today, I'll muck around
and try more things.

I must say the developers seem to think that their way of making a mod
install is simple, but in reality, it's harder then the others, eh?

yes, especially since they have two available versions for two separate
mods. the Sunday Challenge(street cars) and the F1 Challenge(FIA racers)

If you have enough disk space, the best way of avoiding these problems is to
make a clean install of F1C (no Mods). Configure everything to your liking
and then back it up to a zip file.

Whenever a new Mod comes out I unzip the file to a separate folder and
install the mod on a that folder. Like the Papy Sims, F1C can be replicated
a zillion times on disk and it works.

The downside is that all F1C Mods now occupy almost 8Gb of disk space :-)
