Calibration off on Ferrari FF ... help !!

by Lars W. Anderse » Mon, 29 Jan 2001 01:03:26

Hi,

I just bought a Gullemot Ferrari FF wheel (the one with the analogue paddles
on the back).  But it seems the wheel has a fault ... can anyonbe confirm or
deny this ??

The calibration of the center position is off by something like 10 to 15
degrees to the right. That is where the calibration utils shows it is
centered, and that is where it (sometimes) chooses to revert to by own
power.

The power that pushes it there is not that strong so I can put it in other
positions as well without it gong back to that avkward 15 degrees left ...
:(

Is there a workaround to this or did I get a faulty wheel ??  Can I somehow
calibrate the center position myself ??
I would like some opinions or advice, before I go back to the shop monday
morning. Its my first FF wheel and I don't really know what to expect of
this thing.

best regards
Lars

If you   bought your wheel locally and can exchange it, do it. If it was an
online purchase and you don't want to be without it, there is a tweak to fix
it.
