F12K without FF with Guillemot Ferrari FF Wheel

Hi

I've seen some posts regarding the Guillemot FF USB Wheel, but could
not find a solution to my problem, so excuse me if this question was
answered before ; )

With F12K I do not have any FF with the Ferrari wheel. Everything else
runs OK, I am not kicked out of the game like some of you have been
experiencing, even with the newest 1.23 driver and every setting on
Max. The wheel works OK in RC2K

What can I do?

f12k hardly has any FF so you won't miss a thing :)

Not really true. Although not as good as GPL, the FF in F12K still adds
consideraby to the experience.
Are you sure you have switched FF on in the options screen?  Never seen that
problem before.  Crashing back to desktop doesn't happen when FF is off.  If
you get it to work, then you'll have to use the original drivers that came
on the CD.

Well, if it really has NO ff, it's the drivers, not the wheel. Both the Act
Labs Force RS and the Ferrari wheel (and others) use the same, standard
i-Force drivers. I'm sure you're running DX 7a, right?

A matter of opinion, while FF in f12k adds to the experience, I find it
extremely difficult to use the word "considerably".

In my opinion the FF in NFS:PU adds alot more to the experience than the
FF in f12k.

Thanks for your input. Yes I am running DirectX 7a. I will try now by
entering 'off' for FF in F12K and restarting, than put the settings to
'on' and see if it works...

I make use of a procedure like this to activate the correct assistance
indicators after restarting a training (there all off when I'm in the
Pitt and only light up after selecting and deselecting one). And, yes,
I'm very sorry, but for now I still need the AI assistance to keep me
on track!
