Stuff happens, don't worry about it :)  You did the right thing once you
knew your conn was bad.  I had that 10035 error when I had a modem awhile
back; never could find a solution except for broadband.

There's some kind of modem optimizing tutorial for GPL somewhere on the web.
One of the GPL guys could probably guide you to it.

I forgot to add that some people who have cable actually prefer to use their
dial up modems. I think Andre W. does this with GPL.

Thanks guys! :o)

I actually had done this with N4, and I will try it out with NR2K2 and test
it out some in Pick-up races, etc. I will also try to get into eldred's
server thru-out the week, if I can find it up. If I am confident that I
won't be a "warp wrecker" within the events I will attempt another RAS
event. Afterall I just wanna race with something other than the AI!! :o)

Hi ISO!

I was driving the 31 at Pocono last Sat.  I was steamed when we wrecked in
T1, but when I checked the replay it was clearly a warping deal.

You have no problem with me, my friend.  It's one of those online things.
Hope to see you this weekend.

Jeff

P.S. You hit me while warping at C***te, too. That was me in the T2
incident.  Do you hate me, or what? ; )

Uhhh...that was me apparently warping at C***te Jeff, I had posted in
this same thread last week apologizing for the warp, (I am on cable btw),
maybe you didnt see that post.
Hadnt ever had probs in the past, it just chose a great field to start
warping in...again sorry if I took you with me.
Perhaps if we could mention in practice if we see someone warping on track,
they can try to reconnect to get a better ping? That way me/them/whoever can
know about it before getting into a situation where we "endanger" other cars
in race mode? Not to mention the waste of time.....just a suggestion FWIW

Jeff,

sorry but I didn't run the C***te race. After my connection problems
at Pocono I didn't think it fair to the other racers if I was warping
all over the place.

Greg,

I actually think it would be a good idea for racers to let others know
if they are warping really bad. But keep in mind that everyone warps a
little so you would want to make sure that they are warping enough to be
detrimental to the racing. :o)

(If this post shows up out of order or not in the "Pocono Today" thread
sorry about that but I am posting this message thru a mirror on a
Forum.)

SO I guess I need to change my car # to something else, it seems that "31"
causes warp <G>
