The sound of the car/cars/ambient is choppy and very low volume when I'm in
the race/practice/etc. Sounds in the menus/intro etc work ok, except the
racing sounds. I've checked the sounds out of the game and they're ok. Tried
with the sound settings at different levels, tried changing from 2 to 4
speakers to headphones. Tried uninstalling and installing again, small and
full installation. Nothing.

Anyone has any idea that might help me solve the problem ?

(Dell XPS R450)

PII 450 Mhz
128 MB SDRAM
12 MB Diamond Monster 3D II
Montego PCI 64 Turtle Beach sound card
etc.

Wait for the 20th patch...by then they may have fixed your sound problem, my
different sound problem, the other 20 sound problems, and the other 200 bugs
in this minor update to F1RS.
