MGPRS2 and SBLive - Sound Problems

by J » Fri, 23 Apr 1999 04:00:00

Hi all,

just got an SBLive.
I now have the following problem: When starting MGPRS, the volume
(engine) is set back to half on the windows-mixer.
Anybody has an idea?
I already found out, that it has something to do with the patch 1.05

Thanks in advance

Jens

There is an easy way to fix this problem. Just make your snd_cpa.ini
suitable for 2D instead of 3D.
Here is mine: -
[Options]
Sound_ON_OFF=ON
WAV_ON_OFF=ON
CD_ON_OFF=ON
SXD_DIST_SATUR=8
SXD_DIST_FADE=64
[DLL_Test]
File0=WAVX2
[DLL_Sxd]
Unconditionnal=None
File0=WAVX2

Default=WAVX2
[DLL_Cd]
Unconditionnal=None
Default=CD_WM
[Directx3D Options]
GUID for 1=Primary Sound Driver
Speakers Configuration=Stereophonic
Nb Voices=27
[Directx2D Options]
GUID for 1=Primary Sound Driver
Nb Voices=8
It works perfectly.
OK?
