As your tires wear, you're going to tend to drift high in the turns.

The trickiest part of the track is the exit from turn 2, especially
after your tires are on the virge of needing replacement.  There's a
little hump that will make your rear end light and if you're too
aggressive with the accelerator, your car will come around on you and
you'll be kissing the inside wall hard.  If someone is trying to pass
you on the inside when this happens to you, they're probably gonna get
screwed in the process.  be careful as the tire wear goes up.

Assuming we can manage a no-cautions race, you will need a stop for
tires before the race is over.

I would like to add that pit entry under green flag conditions is
fraught with danger at the Rock.  I have a replay available of what I
see as the most safe pit entry method I've come up with.  It gets you
off the racing surface and out of harms way quickly, and creates the
least dangerous situtation for any cars that might be following you.  I
recommend that everyone use it.

The replay file is 270k and is located here:

I would also like to propose that there be no on-track chatting after
the green flag drops to start the race.  This is quite distracting for
both the other drivers and the guy trying to type (I don't care how good
you are at doing it).

Sierra's down.  No servers are listed at all, and nobody can start one,
even from within multiplayer.

Haven't had a chance to look at the replay John, but fwiw, the best way to
pit under green there(most tracks actually) is to hit the apron before T3,
on the backstretch.
