A couple of other interesting modeling effects that I noticed:
-- The rear suspension squatting as you shift through the gears.
-- The general working of the suspension along the course. It really feels
like riding in a car. Of course, modern F1 cars are suspended more like
Karts these days anyway.
-- I was*** at the edge of traction around a curve, and when I
upshifted the rear end broke lose and just "stepped out" a bit. How much
cooler can you get?
You know, if this sim engine models the physics of a sliding car so well,
when can we start asking Papyrus for a dirt-track sprint-car sim??? Now that
would have some great possibilities!
