Well, Stan is making progress and the Holden is starting to look quite
good, but Gilles had a head start on him and Stan is almost as old as
Bruce so you can't expect him to work as fast as Gilles....

Ed - did you try Netcar? I'm very surprised by how good it has become. The
Japanese Turbo'd monster is an absolute hoot around Falkenberg and Brands.
Best ever in-car turbo sound I've heard. Reminds me of the old C2 :) I think
it passes the GTR mod on physics by quite a bit.
Oh, and it has your car too. Didn't know the std Nini Coopers were that slow
and understeer-ey...(har, har!)
Matt
Mid-80's Winston Cup Cars would be GREAT! (hint hint)

I've downloaded bth netkar and brands - but I cant get the damn thing to
work....
Where do i select track and car? The test day screen only give me errors...
And I've not been able to see any servers either. :-(
As for the Mini; if it's pushing that bad - they got it wrong. My car's
actually so loose at the rear that I'm considering unhooking the rear ARB
come snow and winter.. :o)

Weird. Works no prob on my system, A shame...try fiddling abit with it. It's
really worth it imo. Running Donington with the JTCC car knocks GTR off the
#1 spot. I've had lots of very wideways moments, controlling it with the
throttle and mad steering. Feels very lifelike, and that lowspeed understeer
is nowhere to be seen. Oh, and that "pschhht" from the wastegate...at least
two different sounds. When you let off and coast/brake and when you just dab
the gas or shift. Brilliant!
The UI is very simple, so sounds like you don't get the track day screen
loaded up.
It just pushes when you have the throttle to the floor, it's very loose on
liftoff. And I just discovered I had my actlab gas calibrated a tad
sensitive, wide open at 1/3 of the pedal stroke. Hehe.
