Some of the old cars from the 50s 60s and 70s
with the great old drivers. You could have races
with the cars of different eras racing. Tracks
for they time periods. Just a dream i guess.

That's a great idea. Personally i'd like to see a Legends of Indy. They used
some of the same cars there as GPL. It would be neat to race front engine
roadster's against the rear engine cars. You'd still be racing aganist
Clark,Hill Brabham & Gurney.Also you'd see the likes of Foyt,Ward,Sacks
&Unser. It would be so cool.

Just imagine racing (or DRIVING) a Superbee!!  Richard Petty at the height
of his glory!  Cale Yarborough, Benny Parsons....  Man, I'd love to race an
old Superbee (properly modeled).

I'd like to drive the diesel Indycar I've just been reading about.  The only
diesel powered racecar to take pole position (around 1950 I think).
Looked way cool too....made its contemporaries look like tanks!

Errr...try this one:
http://www.racesimcentral.net/

Not sure about it, try The Pits as well...if nothing works, maybe I can
upload it on my homepage so you can download it (depends on the size)

The patch gives you 1971 Stockcars, vintage tracks and drivers. The
menue-screens are different as well. Quite good. Need the BGN tracks,
though.

Let me know whether you could find it.

I guess due to all the hub-bub of GPL people have forgotten that Sim***world and us have already done that.  You can get it at
The Pits, or Simulator ***world.  Tracks, cars, drivers.  Superbirds will
be released by the end of the month...hopefully.

Cheers!

On top of that, the SC N1 group, along with members of Woof
Motorsports and Late Apex, are working *** the N1 version.  Look
for a preview early December.

'53 -- Freddie Agabasian at the wheel...  The only thing that kept it
from running away with the race was that the inlet for the
supercharger was located too low and it became clogged with ***
from the track.

Another Cummins Diesel -- back in the 30s sometime -- is the only car
ever to complete the 500 miles without making a pitstop.

And to keep this on topic, yes, I'd LOVE to see a Legends of Indycar
game.  Imagine racing an Offy at the original Langhorne...
