the great simulator, already very complete as such, has got some
great additions. The setups by Alice and others are very good, etc.
And now I've tried the -67 authentic adverti***ts etc. by
Matthew Knutsen (http://www.racesimcentral.net/~kareknut/simrace1.htm),
and replacement motor sounds based on real motors from the era by
Patrick (http://www.racesimcentral.net/~expatjen/patsound.htm).
Excellent work! Many thanks to Matthew and Patrick. The amount of work
must have been very big.
I couldn't believe that the sim could become still better. But it did!
And how nice that Papyrus implemented the program so that it is so
easy to change some features; just add the replacement files to
the directory of appropriate .dat-file. Very good software designing!
(I work in the field, too. ;)
I warmly recommend gpl lovers to try these two excellent additions!
