my p4 1.7 takes a long time to load any track in n4, any ideas?
runs perfect otherwise on ME

What sort of ram do you have?  I upgraded to 192MB ram (3 x 64 mb
dimms) and it did wonders.

How long are we talking about?  From memory it takes about 10-15 seconds
to load Sears Point on my AMD1.3G, 256MB RAM, KyroII 64MB.  48MB of
32-bit textures might take awhile to load.

I also have a problem loading, but only Watikins Glen.  I have 128MB PC100
and 128MB PC133

n  How much ram do you have?  P4's don't really begin to hustle, I've heard,
unless you have AT LEAST 256k onboard.

What video card do you have?  That will affect the loading as much as the
disk accessing.  Are you loading from the HDD or CD?  How many seconds does
it take?  We might be able to tell you if it is normal if you told us what
it is.
