    Every now and then N4 cant load a track. This can happed to any track in
any mode (practice, race, single or on line). This seems to happen mostly
when I am going into the same track the second time without rebooting. EX: I
will solo practice on, say, Daytona then go into a race on Daytona. The
Daytona likely will not load for the race. Happens other times also but this
seems to be the condition where it happens most.
     Anyone else see this? Anyone have a fix?

Same thing here, driving me nut's.Tried clean install of video drivers and
reinstalled N4 with no luck,it's kinda of a ***shoot if it the tracks
load.Once in a while the track loads but the cars won't, real pain!.
 Hope someone comes up with a fix.

    A dodge that sometimes works when the track you want does not load is to
try to load some other track (usually loads fine)  then back out and again
try the track you want. Mabe 60% of the tiime this gets me where I wanna go.
The other 40% I cuss a lot and reboot.

Have you installed nascar 4 in a RAID configuration?

I have the same problem and I discover that it is present only when nascar 4
is installed in a raid configuration.

Installed in an another HD (my third) on the normal eide port it's works
fine.

My hardware is Abit KT7-Raid with 256 ram two HD ibm GXP 30 giga, SB live
and Creative Geforce DDR.

I hope that the team of Papyrus know that.

  It's funny you say said that,I just found that out last night,I went to
testing session and it wouldn't load,so when I went championship it loaded,
then I fooled around a little and had the same experience you did, except I
cuss 100% of the time.
  Hope they come up with a fix.

    I have a WD 40 gig ATA100 and a WD 8 gig 33. Video card = Herc GForce2
MX. The rest of the parts are the same as yours.
   I DO have the HD on the HighPoint but strictly as an ATA 100 drive. There
is NO Raid setup. This would seem to indicate that the trouble is NOT with a
Raid setup but with the Highpoint chip/driver. If Chisau28 also has a
HighPoint ATA 100 or Raid setup I think we can say that is a definate bug,
but where? In NASCAR or in HighPoint chip/driver?
And how are the ASUS folks with the Promise ATA 100 doing?

  I  have a single 30gig  IBM ultra ATA100 on a kt7-raid using the highpoint
controller, with a Gforce Ultra (non raid).Sounds like we may be on to
something, I wonder how many people with simular set-ups are experiencing the
same thing?
  I also noticed another thing with N4, if I overclock my Ram ( Mushkin cas 222
rev3) past 140mhz I start getting flashing anomolies in the***pit only(
V-sync is off ), no other games are affected like this, I can run other games
with ram at 150mhz+ with no problems, wierd.
