I love to drive all sims and was wondering what other peoples favorite
tracks were.
I think my list would look something like this:

1. SPA from Grand Prix Legends. (1.1 patch makes FF awesome here)
2. Road Atlanta from Sports Car GT (with the 1.551 patch)
3. Mosport from Sports Car GT ( I like this one better than the GPL version
of this track)
4. Sunset Mesa from Viper Racing
5. Alpine from the original Need for Speed SE( love ALL the LINEAR TRACKS
HERE  !!!!!)
6. Rock Island from Viper Racing
7. Talladega from Nascar2
8. Hometown from Need for Speed III (and High Stakes, same exact track)
9. Rouen from GPL (A nice narrow track that I enjoy hotlapping on)
10. Hockenheim from Sports Car GT( with an extremely fast car)

These are just some of my favorites that I find myself going back to all the
time.
Did I miss your favorite? What do you all find to be your favorites? I find
my self spending the most time with SCGT,Viper and GPL.

Those are all good picks.  Road Atlanta I like both in SCGT and in real
life.  Fun to drive both ways (though I liked the old configuration much
better).  I would also like to add Detroit and Elkhart Lake from ICR2
though.  I always enjoyed racing against the AI on these tracks because of
the high complexity of the tracks and you can get some good racing going on
with some nice evenly matched AI. I also think that Donington both short and
long in SCGT is a good track.  It has a lot of fast sweepers to keep you on
the edge but some slow turns to make racing the AI interesting.

That's my $.02 add-on

1. Silverstone from Grand Prix Legends.
2. Mesa Marin on N99 in trucks
3. Portland (n99 again as well as trucks again.....love those short track
truck races, just wish it was online!)
4. Paradise Leap.....SODA    Anyone seen screenshots of Motorcross Madness
2? Wouldnt those graphics KILL with SODA? What a great idea for  a sim that
just SUCKED in retail
5. Cleveland .......Cart/ICR2    Just did a reinstall 3 days ago to race
there
6. Watkins Glen......GPL, only other GPL track I am comfortable with
7. Any circuit race in Midtown Madness in the F350 truck.....I know this is
an arcader, but that really feels like driving a big truck, and I cant stop
laughin plowing through traffic.
8. Lime Rock........ SCGT
9. Bristol/Martinsville...N1,N2,N99....Cant believe these arent tied for
first. What got me into sim racing was those 2 tracks.
10.Bemedi ...backwards Viper

I currently bounce between GPL, N99, and SCGT.......I just bought a MSFF
wheel along with Midtown madness. I have only put in one or 2 races with
GPL, Viper and SCGT to fully enjoy FF in sims, but I can say in Midtown
Madness, FF can be both fun and a complete freakin hindrence. That damn
wheel will wake the baby when I get damage.
Really wanted the Logitech FF, but apparantly they are discontinued or Best
Buy isnt carrying them no more.

I second that!

I *really* enjoyed World Championship mode - every time it went to
another track I thought: yes, I'm really looking forward to this one!

My personal favourites are Zandvoort and Brands Hatch, but I'd love to
go back to the Nurburgring if my system could cope with it online!

:>I think my list would look something like this:

  <Snippage>  I'm surprised nobody's mentionned Interlagos yet - my
favourite track on any Sim that has it.  The Senna S is such a challenge
and then the rhythm required for the slow mid section followed by the
blast back along the pits.  Hills, slopes, slow turns, fast turns and
banked bits - the track has everything.

Oh man I forgot about the old CPR days.  I loved Pau that you made.  That
track had everything in it.  Then again all of the tracks that you made were
really fun to drive.

That's my number one I think. The "Coastal" track in the original NFS
1 is up there too.

My favorite tracks (all sims)

Hi everyone!
It's been fun reading this thread!  Now here are my picks:

1) Any version of Leguna Seca (I have not seen anyone mention this one
for SCGT, how is it? I am considering picking this one up soon.)
2) Martinsville/Bristol (N*) - these too tracks IMO seem to give some of
the best racing in the N* serise.
3) Michigan (ICR2) - close high speed racing
4) Monaco GP2 - (can do good with it in GP2, GPL is another story! :) )
5) Watkins Glen GPL - The esses are fun when you get them right!
6) Mosport GPL - cool elevation changes!
7) C***te (N*) - All of the other C***te clones just aren't like
C***te.

I know there are more, but it is really hard to choose and my brain is
starting to hurt!

Later,
John
