gp3 Flashing Screen

by paulo_paul » Tue, 06 Mar 2001 07:49:31

When I am playing GP3, every now and then the half bottom of the screen
"flashes"...
It looks like when the on board cameras during  real race on TV do have
interference.
When playing, it starts showing up as early as the car still on the starting
grid, ie not
using that much of processing....
What should I do to stop this very unpleasant thing? It just becomes
impossible to play,
as the "flashes" are very very disturbing.
I run a pIII 800 mhz, on Windows Me and 3D Prophet II GTS Pro (64mb) video
card.
Already have drivers for this board version 6.35 isntalled. Help!!!

A known nVidia(GTS Pro) problem.  Disabling v-synch seems to be the
work-round until new drivers appear.
Other games will be affected as well in D3D.

Actually, your PC is subliminally telling you to stop running GP3.  It
really makes him suffer.  They do have emotions, remember :)
