MS Ff Stick + Logitech profiler : PROBS !!!

by Silvia Twai » Tue, 27 Aug 2002 02:44:08

Hi all !

Please help me ...
I've installed my Momo (usb) and my MS Sidewinder FF stick (joystick port)
Everything works just fine except :

I've read in this group that it's wise to put the steering sensitivity
(Momo) to 25% by means of the Logitech profiler. (for playing GPL)
While every sim just works fine, the profiler (latest version !) is unable
to detect my Momo wheel.

If I detach my MS FF stick, all works fine... but I don't wanna do that !

Any suggestions you guys ?

Oh yeah : still Win98 se here and no plans yet to change my OS

I have a similar setup, just older stuff.  I have a MS Sidewinder 3D Pro joystick, and  the original
LWFF running on 98SE.  I have the joystick on ID 1, and the wheel on ID 2 on.  Everything works
perfectly in that config EXCEPT old games, like N3, Cart Precision Racing, and ICR2.

Try changing which device is listed in the #1 slot.   CH products used to
have a connector box that automatically sorted out the various gameport
connections...I don't know if that is still available.
