Papyrus new sim rumors

Hiya all..

Don't tell me how I got this information, but it seems that they Papyrus is
currently thinking of doing a "Legends" sim, no not the Legends of Nascar
but a Legends sims based on those small cars that race on ovals.  They have
two type of cars I think.

600 Racing and INEX are presently in talk about this.  It was supposedly
wrote in their private magazine to their members, so I can't say more Im not
a member of that association.

Thats the URL to their site.  Of course it might be bollocks, who knows.
It's a cheap license and something that could interest alot of us, since
those cars are pretty fun to drive, but I will wait more for the next CART
title if there is ever one.  Well I was the first to say this news if it's
ever true ! :)

Hi,
A Legends sim would be fun though!  I can hear them at the track from
my house (they are much louder than the street/hobby stocks and sportsmen
classes.  I go on Friday evenings whenever I can, (can't this week, I
have an final exam Saturday! :( I hope to get home in time to catch the
Brickyard 400!)  It would be some good close racing on short tracks
anyway!  I really wish they would do that Reno Air Racer sim though, it
would have a good audience hopefully appealing to both racing/flight sim
crowds.

Later,
John

"Bollocks" indeed was my first thought after reading your post but It makes
perfect Sierra sense, another title for that worn but *existing* N1 game
engine and the track graphics could also be pulled from the shelves.

If they indeed are creating a title based on an introductory racing series I
would prefer a realistic GoCart or Midget sim. The Legends series does
nothing for me.
